The cabins
How many people can stay in each cabin?
The Romantic sleeps 2 guests in a large double bed. The Family sleeps up to 3 guests, with a double bed and a single bed.
Is there a private bathroom?
Yes, in both cabins. At The Romantic, the private bathroom sits just below the treehouse: you step outside briefly to reach it. At The Family, the bathroom is inside the cabin itself.
Are the cabins usable in winter?
Yes. Both cabins are heated and available all year round. Winter here is especially quiet: nature is at rest, and breakfast is enjoyed cosily indoors.
Can both cabins be booked together?
Yes, both cabins can be booked together. They stand well apart, separated by the garden and the tennis court, which preserves each group's privacy.

Is breakfast included?
The homemade breakfast is included at The Romantic. At The Family, it is available on request as an extra.
Is the pool heated and when is it open?
It is a saltwater pool, shared and unheated. It is open from 15 April to 30 September. Access is free, on time slots arranged with the owners.
What else is there to do on the property?
A tennis court with free access (rackets and balls provided), bikes to ride along the Seine, a ping-pong table and a large garden. Details of the bookable extras are on the Experiences page.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, free secure parking is available on the property. The exact address and access details are shared once your booking is confirmed.
Booking
How do I book, and is there online payment?
You fill in the booking form on the site: your request goes to WhatsApp and Alexandra confirms availability. No payment is requested on the site: once your stay is confirmed, Alexandra sends you her bank details for payment by transfer. No deposit is required.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the stay begins, with a full refund. After that, the stay is payable in full.
Can a stay be given as a gift?
Yes. A personalised gift voucher can be issued with your message. It is valid for 12 months and the recipient freely chooses their dates subject to availability.
Practical matters
How do I get there from Paris?
Allow about 1 hour by car from Paris via the A6. By public transport, the RER D serves Ris-Orangis 7 km away, then a taxi completes the journey.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed in the cabins.
Can we come with a baby?
Yes. A travel cot is provided free of charge, on request when booking, in both cabins.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
At The Romantic: check-in from 2 pm, check-out by 11 am. At The Family: check-in from 3 pm, check-out by noon. Please let Alexandra know as early as possible about any change.
